  • Premium Topcoat Finishing System: This smooth-to-the-touch finish is now 40% thicker, standing up to the tests of everyday life.
  • All-Plywood Construction: Our all-plywood cabinets endure moisture without warping or swelling.
  • Solid-Wood Dovetail Drawers: Sturdy solid-wood construction that withstands use for years to come.
  • Soft-Close Doors and Drawers: Kitchen life is quiet with our soft-close door hinges and drawer slides.
  • I-Beam Construction: Strong I-Beam construction protects our cabinets against the rigors of delivery and installation.

Our testing exceeds the rigorous standards set by the American National Standards Institute.

See how our testing process surpasses Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) requirements.

TESTKCMA RequirementsOne Two One Requirements
Drawer Guide Drawers must survive 25,000 open and close cycles We test for 35,000 cycles.
Door hinge Door hinges must survive 25,000 open and close cycles We test for 35,000 cycles.
Chemical resistance After 10 different common household products are poured on the cabinet and left for 24 hours, there must be no staining or deterioration when each is wiped away. Same thing, but we test 38 other common products – from beet juice, butter, crayons and lipstick, to name-brand cleansers and drinks – to see how they affect our finish.
UV light Not required We expose stained and painted doors and frames to 400 hours of intense UV light – to be sure years of sun exposure do not create unreasonable color change.
Shrink and heat Cabinets are subjected to 120° heat with 70% humidity for 24 hours – to simulate the heat from cooking and extreme shipping conditions Same thing, but we raise the temperature to 160°
